Fischer Rough and Trim Guidelines

ROUGH

DO NOT:

We do not supply bath fans.

We do not run low volt wire for A/C or furnace.

DO:

Run low voltage wire for garage door opener.

Put GFI in laundry room and land under breaker.

Caulk all exterior boxes and RAG, use reg caulk.

Plug for radon goes within 6’ of pipe in Attic.

Basement ceiling gets drywall, wire all of basement on rough.

Fireplaces get hardwired unless it’s a linear, then that gets a plug.

Call Tony or Brian when finished with rough to have house swept.

On Fridays if the house in not finished, pick up big stuff (i.e., boxes and large trash) and put in corner of garage.

TRIM

Do not put water heater wire under breaker until it has water.

Remove temporary GFI from laundry room to use on next rough.

All missing lights or paddle fans get keyless and bulb installed. 

If island has more than 1 light put keyless at end of run and install decorative blank on remaining lights.

All disposal switches in island need to go below top door hinge.

If dishwasher in on site install 6’ whip.

Ovens and electric cook tops get metal 1900/blank and romex con. and greenfield con.

Any hood or microwave that gets vented, we need to cut out drywall for vent.

We clean up after house is trimmed.

If on Fridays house is not done, throw large trash away and put material in 1 location in house.
